bathroom is a central location in every home and plays a major role in everyday
life, especially in the mornings and at bedtime. Despite this, or maybe
precisely for this reason, tidiness
in the bathroom is sometimes neglected. Everything has to be done
quickly and there often isn't enough time to clean up. But it's not too
difficult to keep your
bathroom tidy if you rely on a few simple tricks. We'll show you how
it's done – it's very simple and can be used in any bathroom.
1. Cosmetic samples:
Cosmetic samples can quickly become a problem for keeping your bathroom tidy when these little bottles and bags start piling up. If you want to try out a new product, it's best to use it up right away – otherwise it can be very easy to forget.
2. Gifts:
Perfumes and other cosmetic items make popular gifts. However, if a fragrance or a color doesn't suit your personal tastes, you should consider whether you really want to keep the product or not. As an alternative, someone else might really enjoy it. If you have someone in mind, you can always pass it along.
3. Expired Products:
Many bathroom and cosmetic items have an expiration date that should be taken into account. Sunscreen, for example, shouldn't be used after 30 months from the date of manufacture. You should also dispose of empty or almost empty products, or use them up as soon as possible.
Our tip: Place almost empty products within easy reach and in plain sight so you use them up rather than forgetting about them in a drawer.

There's a good reason that
raffia and wickerwork are often found in bathrooms. Visually speaking, they
often fit in very well with the decor. Baskets in different shapes and sizes
are a great way to store odds and ends in your bathroom.
2. Trays:
Trays can also help to
convey a sense of tidiness
in the bathroom. You can arrange the care products you need on a small
tray, for example, and you'll have everything right at hand.
If you don't have enough storage space in your bathroom but you do have the space for it, you can also think about creating additional storage space in your bathroom.
1. Wipe the sink down:
The sink is without a doubt one of the most used items in the bathroom. Because of this, remnants of use such as toothpaste and soap residue can quickly build up here. Simply wipe your sink down with a cloth or a sponge a few times a week. It takes no time at all but it makes a big difference.
2. Wipe and squeegee the shower:
After use, a lot of water is usually left on the
shower walls and it also works its way into the joints. This can potentially
lead to mold formation in certain conditions. There's an easy fix for this:
Simply wipe the walls with a towel after using the shower. Using a squeegee on glass walls and tilework also prevents stubborn
spots and limescale deposits from taking hold.
3. Clean the toilet:
Of course, cleaning the toilet is
a must. But cleaning it at regular, short intervals will save you a lot of
effort in the long run. For hygiene reasons alone, care should be taken to make
sure that the toilet is completely clean after each use.

1. Hanging or folding towels:
Regardless of whether towels are hung on the
door or next to the sink area, they should be hung neatly next to each other for a tidy overall look.
If you have several towels, you can also make sure that the colors and sizes go
well together. If you have clean spare towels on your shelf ready to be used,
you can roll them or fold them to create an appealing aesthetic.
2. Arrange things deliberately:
Bathroom accessories, cosmetics and personal care products add to the overall look. Beautifully designed products can create a visual appeal and make your bathroom look even more elegant. For optimal tidiness in the bathroom, you should also combine matching colors and sizes – you can store any items that don't match in a cabinet.
