Duravit AG’s new 2024 sustainability report contains extensive information about the company’s brand, sustainability strategy, and long-term goals. Much of the report aligns with the internationally recognized Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), with Duravit preparing for the requirements of the CSRD* EU Directive at the same time. The double materiality assessment was performed with the support of EY, a leading consultancy firm, supplemented by the Tanso software for systematic data collection. The focus is on five central action areas: climate, water, people, resources, and governance.

The go-live of the new production facility in Matane, Canada, will mark a special milestone in 2025. The plant will use electric roller kilns for the first time which are powered almost entirely by hydroelectric energy – a forward-looking project for the entire sector.

Sustainability is firmly embedded in the company strategy and is subject to continual further development through active dialog with stakeholders. As such, Duravit is consistently driving forward its transformation toward climate neutrality.
