New sanitary facilities in Titisee with Black Forest flourish
Kramer GmbH from Umkirch near Freiburg came up with a sanitary facility in a modular design that takes account of the structural conditions and allows a flexible approach, for future projects, too. The toilet facility with a total area of 74 m² consists of five modules. Spacious wash and toilet rooms for men and women are housed in two modules each. The fifth, smaller module is designed as a barrier-free toilet.
The exterior of the sanitary facility features striking, unconventional portraits in local dress by the famous Black Forest photographer Sebastian Wehrle. The high-quality materials and the color scheme in the interior generate a pleasant, natural and refreshing ambience, which has been proven to increase considerate use and reduce soiling and vandalism. The toilets are fitted with Duravit products throughout. The shower-toilets by Duravit are a special feature. They enable hygienic and refreshing cleansing with water and can be intuitively controlled via remote control: ultimate toilet comfort as a mini wellness experience for all visitors. Perspex-covered forest motifs and acoustically insulating moss panels combine with natural sounds such as birdsong and the rustle of trees for a typical Black Forest flourish.
