For years the St. Leon-Rot golf club has been a by-word for nurturing young talent and elite sportspeople. With its residential golf school, the SLR Academy now has capacity to take on up to 20 students aged 14 and above. The new “Dietmar Hopp Foundation” building close to the golf course is perfectly located to enable students to balance their academic and sporting goals. Each day features an individually tailored mix of school, training, tournaments, and recreation.

The residential school offers the students a high-end place to live where they can feel totally at ease: dining area, classrooms and residential quarters are appointed in a contemporary, breezy style with top-quality furnishings. Similarly, the light-infused twin rooms boast a sleeping and working area plus a good-sized bathroom, making the building a true home from home. The washing area and the toilet are fitted with the classic Happy D.2 series by Duravit – as are all the sanitary areas in the building. The large-volume washbasins with the rounded, white vanity unit provide shelf space and storage for two people – bathroom utensils can be stored separately and tidily in the two drawers.
